NUDE ‘TUDE Eyeshadow Palette

Hello There

Today's post is about my most recent eye shadow palette purchase. I recently invested in the Nude 'Tude Palette by The Balm. This was my first product I had purchased off them and it was also the first time I had purchased off the website Adore Beauty

So first off I wanted to talk about the website which I ordered off. The palette is $49.95 which I thought was reasonable and the other reason I decided to order off them was the fact that they offered "Same day Melbourne delivery to certain postcodes". I decided that since I really wanted the palette for the weekend that I would pay the $12 next day delivery. So I ordered on the Thursday at about 4pm so I knew that I would be getting it on the Friday. I made the address my work address since they didn't deliver next day to my home address. I work 9-5 so I believed it would be there in time. At 4pm it had not arrived yet and I was getting worried so I sent Adore Beauty an email and a lovely lady responded quickly assuring me it should arrive before 6pm. However since my work closed at 5pm that did not suit me. The lady was so kind and offered to have it shipped to another address but seeing as my home address was not deliverable I just suggested that it be delivered on the Monday. She kindly refunded my shipping cost and I had my Parcel first thing Monday morning. I was really happy with the service and I think its awesome that they offer next day delivery in Melbourne. I always believe that as long as problems are addressed and resolved efficiently then the Company is doing their job right.

Now onto what i'm sure you would rather hear about. The Palette.

First off, I love the packaging. Its sturdy, well made and it is really neat looking as you can see below. It also comes with a huge mirror inside, which is awesome and so great for travel.

This was my first time trying eye shadows from The Balm and I have to admit that I really am impressed. I would say that it is very up there with high end brands like Urban Decay. The eye shadows are all so soft and pigmented. Unlike many shimmery eye shadows they do not have much fall out and they blend so beautifully.

The reason as to why it took me so long to purchase this palette was the fact that I am so obsessed with completely matte shadows and all these are not matte. However 'Sultry' is completely matte and probably my favorite brown shadow I have ever owned. It is seriously butter soft and blends perfectly. Now that I do have this palette I would recommend it even if you are like me and love matte shadows. Although they aren't all matte they are most definitely not glittery shadows.

As you can see from the swatches above, most shadows have a slight shimmer through them but are all most definitely wearable and I would still classify this as a neutral palette.

So, what do you think of the Nude 'Tude palette?
Have you tried it out? Do you want to try it in the future?
